This website is deliberately lean: it sets no cookies, embeds no analytics or tracking services, and runs no JavaScript. Personal data arises only when you write to us.

2. Hosting and delivery

The website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Technically necessary data is processed when a page is requested, in particular your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the volume of data transferred and details of your browser and operating system. This processing is required to deliver the site and keep it secure; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and available service under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Cloudflare acts as a processor and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the European Commission standard contractual clauses additionally apply to transfers to third countries.

3. Contact form and email

When you submit the form on the contact page we process the details you enter: topic, name, email address, the answer about a donor car, and your message. It reaches our inbox by email through Cloudflare Email Routing. We use this data solely to answer your enquiry and to settle the questions that follow from it. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is directed at a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We keep the message until the matter is closed; statutory retention periods remain unaffected. The same applies if you write to us by email directly.

4. Fonts

This website embeds fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser loads the font files from servers operated by Google Ireland Limited or Google LLC, and your IP address is transmitted to Google in the process. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a consistent presentation under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Maps and external links

The contact page carries a link to Google Maps. It is an ordinary link, not an embedded map: no connection to Google is made until you click it. Google's own privacy policy governs the processing that happens there.

6. No cookies, no analytics

We set no cookies, use no local storage in your browser, and embed no analytics services, advertising networks or social network buttons. No consent is therefore required, and there is no cookie banner.

7. Your rights

You have the right to information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20), and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Please write to the address above.

You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 22, 20459 Hamburg, Germany.

8. Changes

We update this statement when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here is the one that applies.
